CHEM Master 2000 offers a wide variety of options for easy inventorying of chemical materials.  EHSI now offers a new CHEM Master chemical inventory bar coding system to generate, read and upload container bar code labels for even easier, high-tech inventory collection.

Key Features
  • Speedy chemical inventory collection using a "3-of-9" bar code system.
  • Comes standard with compact, light-weight, portable scanners, about the size of a cell phone. Rugged construction. Includes a mini keypad, scanner Starter Kit, RS323 serial port connector cable, belt clip, rechargeable lithium battery, docking station and AC adapter/charger.  (Serial port required)
  • Also exports/imports inventories to MS ExcelŽ spreadsheets, allowing users to update inventories using the most convenient method.
  • Update container quantities by 2 methods - actual quantity remaining in the container, or fractional percent remaining (e.g., half of original).
  • Standard labels include chemical identity, Container ID bar codes, quantity, container expiration date, as well as documentation of container receipt and opening.
  • Tracks empty container disposal and transfers of chemicals to waste containers.  Can be linked to an optional waste disposal module for complete cradle-to-grave tracking of chemical materials.
Here's How It Works
  1. New chemical materials being received are entered for the first time manually into inventory using a separate user CHEM Master user interface specific to bar code tracking.  "3-of-9" bar code labels are then generated, printed and affixed for each container with a unique Container ID.
  2. Items can be reinventoried at any time using the bar code scanner or even imported spreadsheet inventories. Make the necessary changes to quantities and locations. CHEM Master automatically adjusts inventory values, including moving containers from one location to another, where necessary.
  3. This information is summarized and searchable in CHEM Master's Inventory module, and is immediately available for reporting on regulatory reports, such as Tier II and other hazardous chemical listings.
  4. CHEM Master also permits transfers of chemicals to waste holding areas and even specific waste containers using CHEM Master's optional Waste Module. Using this module, waste containers can be assigned to a manifest and the entire existence of any inventory item tracked through its entire cradle-to-grave life cycle at your facility.
Reports
  • Over 65 standard CHEM Master reports available, each with numerous filters, options and spreadsheet export functions, give you complete control over your hazardous chemical inventory for OSHA & EPA regulatory compliance.
  • Don't let old hazardous chemicals be a safety hazard.  Identify all containers due to expire in any given number of days according to a schedule you determine.
